Thanks for signing up you’ve Taken Action and a great first step to increasing your success as a real estate appraiser. Are you ready to grow your appraisal business? Unfortunately I’ve got some bad news for you if you’re a trainee. Your bosses and appraiser mentors aren’t interested in teaching you or me how to develop appraisal business. They just want you to keep grinding out reports and take their 50% or more. Your bosses and associates don’t want you to go out on your own and become a direct competitor. And that makes perfect sense when you think about it. Your competition doesn’t want you to learn the powerful appraiser marketing strategies I used to average $420,377 in appraisal fees during the past three years. If you’re like me you have taken appraisal classes, you attended appraisal school, you may even have your IFA, ASA, MAI, RM or some other designation. You now have the necessary appraisal education to work as an appraiser. But first you have to become a state certified appraisal trainee or state licensed real estate appraiser. Then you have to study under a mentor for almost three years. Your mentor keeps the lion’s share of the fee while they work you to the bone. Got to pay your dues right? You may have even joined the Appraisal Institute, American Society of Appraisers (ASA), the National Association of Independent Fee Appraisers (NAIFA) or some other appraisal organization. You’ve been paying your dues for some time now and you’re ready to take your appraisal business to the next level. By now you’re so ready to go out on your own you can’t stand giving another 50%-60% of the fee to your boss on even one more appraisal. But one thing is missing – and it’s a biggie. No one taught you how to develop business, get clients, make a presentation or keep your existing clients happy. If your clients aren’t happy your appraisal business will go to the competition. Let me ask you a couple of questions.
Here’s a little secret, if you have a mentor or boss they are never, ever going to teach you how to develop
your appraisal business and steal their clients. So what are you going to do about it?
How much money do you want to make this year? I like a nice six-figure income and so does my family. For the first time you can learn some of the appraiser marketing techniques that I use to blow away the competition. This is not the same old appraisal marketing stuff that you read in books. This is hard hitting, marketing like you have never seen before. Listen, as appraisers, marketing is not our strong suit. How could it be with clients calling us for free comps and continually reviewing our reports for every typo. How about those calls a month after the "rush job" is completed with another change to the report. I'll let you in on a secret to cut this headache down significantly.
